It is mainly used in the manufacturing of heavy-duty circular saw blades and high-strength industrial saw blade substrates. The product undergoes precision cold rolling and annealing/tempering treatment, offering high dimensional accuracy and excellent surface finish. The nickel-molybdenum alloying elements significantly enhance the steel's toughness, hardenability, and fatigue resistance. Compared with 75Cr1 and SK series carbon steels, it offers superior impact resistance and anti-chipping capability, making it a premium ideal material for heavy-duty saw blade substrates.

68CrNiMo is a Cr-Ni-Mo low-alloy spring tool steel with moderate carbon content, combined with a Cr-Ni-Mo composite alloying system. Chromium enhances hardness and wear resistance; nickel improves toughness and fatigue resistance; molybdenum refines grain structure and enhances hardenability stability. It achieves a balance of high strength, high wear resistance, and strong impact resistance, making it suitable for saw blade products operating under heavy loads and high-frequency vibration in harsh conditions.
